Summary

As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing various HR programs and initiatives with a strong emphasis on data analytics. This position works closely with HR leadership and other departments to ensure the effective implementation and evaluation of HR policies, programs, and strategies. Expertise in data analytics will be crucial in identifying trends, measuring the impact of HR initiatives, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This position manages 2-5 direct reports at any given time.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.

  • Develops, implements, and manages HR programs and initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management, and professional development.
  • Partners with departmental leaders to ensure HR programs align with business objectives and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Monitors and evaluates the success of HR programs and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Analyzes HR data and metrics to provide insights into employee trends, performance, and program effectiveness.
  • Develops and maintains dashboards and reports to track key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.
  • Uses data to support decision-making and drive HR strategies, including workforce planning and talent management.
  • Ensures HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Assists in updating and maintaining HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications

The following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in progressively larger Human Resources roles, with a strong focus on data analytics and program implementation.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau), and standard HR software.
  • Advanced proficiency in employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing HR programs and using data to drive decisions.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy and procedure guidelines.
  • Ability to present information and respond clearly and confidently to questions from employees, clients, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.
  • HR experience in a fast-paced heavy manufacturing environment
